| I have become a huge fan of
Body Life Adventure Boot Camp (this is my fifth session!). I am stronger, leaner, and much more energetic than I
have ever been (not to mention 13 lbs. lighter and 6 inches smaller) and I continue to see improvements in my strength and flexibility. I never
thought at 54 years of age I would be in the best shape of my life!
The workouts (which are never the same) are challenging but never overwhelming. Andrea is a very attentive (and fun) instructor.
She makes sure everyone is working to their personal potential and modifies exercises to meet individual needs. I always feel encouraged to
give it my all but never at the risk of hurting myself.
This is definitely one of the best things I have done
for myself. I wholeheartedly encourage you to try it. You'll be so glad
you did!

I have somewhat of an unusual testimonial I thought I'd share with you. On Wednesday after our hike I had a dentist appointment to have a crown work up on a tooth that broke. My dentist was drilling away on my tooth when the anesthetic started to wear off.....I motioned her, and she stopped and gave me another shot and continued. She still wasn't finished when I felt the pain coming back again.....she had to stop again and give me yet a third shot to numb me so she could finish. She couldn't understand why the medication was going through me so quickly because I had to have a crown once before and that didn't happen. I mentioned that I had just gone on a "climb up Mt. Everest" that morning and she said that was it.....my metabolism was running so high that the medication was running through my body faster than normal. She was impressed.....so was I!
I really enjoyed the hike....even though I am so badly out of shape, I just hung in there and made it to the top.....like everyone else.....and boy was that view gorgeous! I appreciate that you lag behind for us slower ones.....you make us feel so good about ourselves.....I can't wait for next Wednesday's hike!

I am a 42 year old mother of two girls, ages 13 and 2. I decided to
enroll in Adventure Boot Camp in hopes of increasing my energy level to
keep up with my two year old. I have been overweight my entire adult
life and have been inactive for several years. I was not sure I would
be able to complete a camp session, but I did! From day one, I felt an
increase in energy (although there were sore muscles and joints along
the way). I also felt my overall mood improved. I have definitely
gained strength and lost inches. I enrolled for a second camp to keep
the momentum going. As a complete beginner, I worked with Andrea to
keep some exercises low impact. I was impressed by how Andrea can
tailor the program to be appropriate for both beginners and people who
are already active. I have enrolled in the morning camp, and the best
part is being able to complete my workout before my husband leaves for
work.

The Adventure Boot Camp is simply the best! I particularly like the variety of activities and the sense of fun that's built into the program. I really felt like I was getting the maximum benefit out of the program. I highly recommend the program to anyone wanting to improve their fitness and overall health.

Hope you had a wonderful vacation. I miss you guys. Your boot camp was exceptional. My endurance is so much greater than before and
now I can go jogging & hiking with my husband - any beat him! He was amazed at how much strength I gained from just one month at
your boot camp. I feel so much better about myself, and physically I feel stronger & leaner. You've definitely changed my life, thank you.
I'm sorry I didn't sign up for October. My husband wanted to get back to a routine so we're working out together after we drop the kids off
at school. We walk the trails at Trump National Golf Course. We take the trails down to the ocean and hike back up. We even stop along the
benches for push ups and dips. It's been a lot of fun and I owe a lot to you for not only giving me work out tips & strategies, but also the
push to make my life better.
Maybe we'll meet up at Rex's Cafe some day.

I have to admit I was a little skeptical about something entitled "Boot Camp". I envisioned a lot of yelling and not the most nurturing environment. However, since day one of camp, I have been nothing but thrilled to wake up and hang out with my newly acquainted friends. After two camps, I have learned so many new exercises that have stirred muscles I didn't know I had! The biggest change for me has occurred in my arms, hips and abs. I feel so much leaner and firm. I'm into a size 4 and my energy level has seen a significant boost. So, whether it's interval training with weights or yoga and Pilates, I look forward to every morning's new adventure.

I am so glad to have found the Body Life Adventure Boot Camp ( this
is my second session). I feel stronger, leaner, and have more energy
than I have had in a while. The workouts which vary from day to
day are coordinated so that I never felt bored and uninterested. I
really enjoy the women's only environment and also the fact that
regardless of what level you are at, you are never left behind. Andrea
is consistently motivating and cheering you on to do your best. So glad

Hi Andrea,
I wanted to let you know how much your boot camp helped me. I saw your add and signed up because I needed a jump start on getting in shape. I was amazed how great I felt after working out and that really motivated me to keep going. The class got me back in touch with my body, and I realized that I needed to take better care of myself. I am on camp three and I have lost 20 lbs since I started. With work and the kids I just can't do a thing for myself once the day starts. I am very glad that I took that step and signed up, I look and feel so much better. Thanks for all your encouragement.

I have always wanted to join a boot camp but all the ones I looked at were in the beach area which is way too far to drive to from Palos Verdes. I saw an advertisement for a camp at Miraleste Intermediate, which caught my attention, and called my "running friend" to see if she was interested in doing something different. We had talked about the rut that we were in....doing the same thing for years: running. She was as ready as I was to give it a try for a month. It was going to be a challenge for us both and we were interested in seeing how fit we really were compared to how fit we thought we were.
First, we met Andrea for the initial consultation where you are measured, weighed, and body fat tested. Not too bad but definitely room for improvement.
Well, I am on my third session and have lost over 12 lbs. That is great but I have also gained so much strength and muscle tone and I have lost body fat.
Andrea is very motivating and is able to move everyone in the class at their own pace. She is very knowledgeable and able to adjust the same exercise to fit each persons individual needs while keeping everyone moving through the circuits. She has a different work out everyday, never repeating but always fun and challenging. You mingle, talk, and partner with others which puts camaraderie into the class and you will find yourself encouraging and cheering for others and having a great time while you are working out and sweating.
I would highly recommend this boot camp to anyone up for a challenge. If you are totally out of shape or if you are fit, Andrea is the instructor for you.
